Family Background and brief description of the child:
Muthu's mother Vanaja, when she was just 20 came to our clinic in 1987 with her father carrying her mother in coma. She had consumed organophosphorous poison to commit suicide. Despite our attemts to save her life, she died.
In a year or so Vanaja started her life with a man and got pregnant and Muthu was born. By that time the man had already deserted Vanaja and her new born baby, Muthu (Muthu means Pearl). Some how Vanaja brought her up for the next 6 years and she could not make it further. She came to us and left Muthu with us and disappeared not to return till date. Till then she has been under our care in the Good Shephred Orphanage.
As her name denotes, she is a black pearl. Her favorite Bible verse is Song of Songs 1:3. Yes she is a black lovely pearl. Muthu is a hard working and excellent student. Her hobby is sewing and embroidery. Muthu received the Lord as her personal saviour and testified the Lord in water baptism.
She wants to be teacher as she grows up.
Muthu has three more years to finish her schooling. Please pray before the Lord and decide to sponsor this orphan girl.
